How Do You Inspect the Inside of Pipes? X-Rays?
No, no, no. Nothing that complicated. We don’t look through the pipes, we look into the pipes. And with today’s video camera technology, that is easier to do than ever before. Basically, we just use a very small camera that is affixed to a flexible rod to inspect the interior spaces of your pipes.
Depending on the location of the suspect problem, we may feed this rod into a drain itself, or into an access point in the plumbing system. This will require some sleuthing on our part, because we certainly don’t ever intend on wasting our clients’ time. So we’ll get an idea of what the problem may be and where it might be located, and move on from there.
But What Is This Going to Accomplish?
There are a lot of different reasons why we may advise a video pipe inspection to any given client. You may think that problems with pipes are pretty obvious, but that’s really only the case once the problem has had enough time to present obvious symptoms. Our goal is to get out ahead of serious problems, and video pipe inspection is a great tool in achieving this goal.
We can look at the extent of clogs, for instance, as well as what is leading to those clogs. We can assess the effectiveness of any drain or sewer cleaning services that we’ve provided, and we can also look for any problem areas that might lead to leaks down the line. Not only that, but we can also look for issues like tree root infiltration that can cause both leaks and clogs. Basically, we’ll look for anything at all that’s abnormal with these pipes, and we can then review that footage to make an informed decision about what needs to be done next.
A video pipe inspection is not something that you can handle on your own. The only way to make sense of what’s being seen is to have a professional assessing what’s seen. That’s why you want to work with us.

Great review for Goettl Plumbing.We had an blockage in our sewer line.Tyler Leija was dispatched the same day, and found the blockage using a camera tool.He cleared the blockage temporarily.The actual fix would require digging up and replacing the bad area of pipe.Paulo "Adrian" Dado and his crew came out the next day with backhoe, dug up the area, and replaced the section of pipe.The next day, after inspection, Adrian and his crew filled in the hole and then cleaned up the area.This is a brief description. There was A LOT of work involved.Very professional work.

We were hearing hammering between the walls. Tyler came out to my home to perform an evaluation. After doing several tests he quickly found the issue. We discussed several options. I ultimately opted to have the problem fixed to avoid damage to other appliances. He completed the work in a timely manner.
Peter helped a lot with explaining the root cause of our AC unit not functioning as well as it should be, and explaining why he recommended the fix/parts that he did. Took plenty of time to troubleshoot what was actually going on as opposed to just treating the symptoms, and explained in an easy-to-understand way what he found and how to fix it. The water softener (which is outside) was ruined by the recent weather. Rudy and Chris were able to diagnose the problem and replaced the softener on same day. This was critical to avoid any plumbing problems in the house. We appreciate their professionalism and attention email to detail.

My technician Jorge (George) Gutierrez was out today performing the a/c system check. He did a fabulous job and identified significant issues and concerns for the longevity of my current 12 year old system. He was very knowledgeable and helpful on what my options are and in the end I’ll be getting a new system instead of worrying about the current system failing in our extremely hot temperatures. He was very respectful of my home and my dog was ecstatic to meet him.
Frank identified the need for new faucets in the master bath and discussed my preferences. The type of faucet being replaced is no longer available (mini wide spread) so he had to do some research to come up with a solution. Had to be ordered, not surprisingly, and we appreciate his conscientious performance.
