Why Is My Home Heating Unevenly?
Granted, our winter season in this part of the country is not at all comparable to that in, say, Vermont or Minnesota. However, we still need to be able to heat our homes successfully, as there is plenty of chilly weather to be had. In order to heat our homes successfully, we must be able to heat them evenly. If there are cold spots throughout your home, you are simply not going to be able to live in the true comfort that we believe you deserve. Subpar Insulation
During the summer, as you run your AC, you count on your insulation to prevent heat from muscling its way into your home. During the winter, though, it is still hard at work, ensuring that your heat doesn’t transfer outdoors. If you don’t have enough insulation in your home, though, and in all of the right places, then you may not be able to heat your home evenly. Heat will find its way out of your home, and your system is going to have to work harder to even out temps therein.
Damaged Ductwork
If you use a furnace or a heat pump in order to distribute heated air throughout your home, then damaged ductwork could well account for the problem of uneven heating therein. Heated air may leak out of your ductwork into parts of the home where it isn’t really needed. Once it has, your heater is again going to struggle to make up the difference in those areas affected. The result is very likely to be uneven temperatures in different parts of the house.

Great review for Goettl Plumbing.We had an blockage in our sewer line.Tyler Leija was dispatched the same day, and found the blockage using a camera tool.He cleared the blockage temporarily.The actual fix would require digging up and replacing the bad area of pipe.Paulo "Adrian" Dado and his crew came out the next day with backhoe, dug up the area, and replaced the section of pipe.The next day, after inspection, Adrian and his crew filled in the hole and then cleaned up the area.This is a brief description. There was A LOT of work involved.Very professional work.

We were hearing hammering between the walls. Tyler came out to my home to perform an evaluation. After doing several tests he quickly found the issue. We discussed several options. I ultimately opted to have the problem fixed to avoid damage to other appliances. He completed the work in a timely manner.
Peter helped a lot with explaining the root cause of our AC unit not functioning as well as it should be, and explaining why he recommended the fix/parts that he did. Took plenty of time to troubleshoot what was actually going on as opposed to just treating the symptoms, and explained in an easy-to-understand way what he found and how to fix it. He also gave good advice about simple DIY maintenance we can do moving forward to keep the system healthy! Goettl as a whole was very easy to work with and I was able to book an appointment as early as the day following my phone call. Great service from start to finish!

Our AC went down for the upstairs unit. We have a maintenance plan through another company but they do not provide 24/7 service. I called Goettl and I am so happy I did. The water softener (which is outside) was ruined by the recent weather. Rudy and Chris were able to diagnose the problem and replaced the softener on same day. This was critical to avoid any plumbing problems in the house. We appreciate their professionalism and attention email to detail.

My technician Jorge (George) Gutierrez was out today performing the a/c system check. He did a fabulous job and identified significant issues and concerns for the longevity of my current 12 year old system. He was very knowledgeable and helpful on what my options are and in the end I’ll be getting a new system instead of worrying about the current system failing in our extremely hot temperatures. He was very respectful of my home and my dog was ecstatic to meet him.
Frank identified the need for new faucets in the master bath and discussed my preferences. The type of faucet being replaced is no longer available (mini wide spread) so he had to do some research to come up with a solution. Had to be ordered, not surprisingly, and we appreciate his conscientious performance.

Signed up for the Sadie membership as a a preventative measure to avoid bigger problems down the line. Had my appointment to check my system today and to my surprise the tech discovered a huge gash in my ductwork! Thankfully so because the ductwork up there is a very tight space which I could never squeeze myself into and would’ve gone unnoticed for who knows how long. Huge thank you to Technician Roy Adame for making the trip out on a Saturday afternoon, going the extra mile to fully inspect the system in a tight space, and fully explaining the possible causes of the damage and the impact it would on the system performance. 🙏🏼🤙🏼🫡👏🏼🙂
