Why Bother with Late Season Heating Repairs?
Have you run into trouble of any kind with your home heating system lately? If so, we know what you may be thinking. “Well, it’s pretty late in the season for heating repair in Phoenix. I guess I’ll just wait until next winter.” If we have hit the nail on the head, then we suggest you reconsider. Sure, your heater may make it through the rest of the heating season—but at what cost?
We’re pretty much out of the heating season at this point, but nighttime temperatures are still dropping down into the low 60s and frequently into the 50s. You may need your heater to make it through the chillier nights, and it may be able to handle this type of demand. Ultimately, however, you are not doing yourself or your heater any favors by ignoring existing problems just because the end of the season is in sight.
Minimal Use Can Still Take a Toll
Suppose you roll your ankle really hard when you are out for a hike. It is not broken or anything, and you figure that you can get away with some ice and maybe a compression wrap. That is all well and good. But chances are that you’re also going to stay off that ankle as much as possible.
You’re not going to be saying “Well, I’ll go for just a small hike today” or “I’ll make sure to take some stuff out of my pack to lighten my load.” Why not? Because you know that even this amount of exertion will make the problem worse! The same is true of even “minor” use of a system that is already struggling.
You’re Going to Be Overpaying for Its Use
Like we said, you can probably continue to use your heater as needed without it breaking down entirely, considering how little you’ll likely be using it in the immediate future. Even if you’re only using it a little, however, you still don’t want to be overpaying for doing so.
No heater is going to function as effectively as it should when it is damaged, and it won’t work as efficiently, either. Great review for Goettl Plumbing.We had an blockage in our sewer line.Tyler Leija was dispatched the same day, and found the blockage using a camera tool.He cleared the blockage temporarily.The actual fix would require digging up and replacing the bad area of pipe.Paulo "Adrian" Dado and his crew came out the next day with backhoe, dug up the area, and replaced the section of pipe.The next day, after inspection, Adrian and his crew filled in the hole and then cleaned up the area.This is a brief description. There was A LOT of work involved.Very professional work.

We were hearing hammering between the walls. Tyler came out to my home to perform an evaluation. After doing several tests he quickly found the issue. We discussed several options. I ultimately opted to have the problem fixed to avoid damage to other appliances. He completed the work in a timely manner.
Peter helped a lot with explaining the root cause of our AC unit not functioning as well as it should be, and explaining why he recommended the fix/parts that he did. Took plenty of time to troubleshoot what was actually going on as opposed to just treating the symptoms, and explained in an easy-to-understand way what he found and how to fix it. He also gave good advice about simple DIY maintenance we can do moving forward to keep the system healthy! Goettl as a whole was very easy to work with and I was able to book an appointment as early as the day following my phone call. Great service from start to finish!

Our AC went down for the upstairs unit. We have a maintenance plan through another company but they do not provide 24/7 service. I called Goettl and I am so happy I did. The water softener (which is outside) was ruined by the recent weather. Rudy and Chris were able to diagnose the problem and replaced the softener on same day. This was critical to avoid any plumbing problems in the house. We appreciate their professionalism and attention email to detail.

My technician Jorge (George) Gutierrez was out today performing the a/c system check. He did a fabulous job and identified significant issues and concerns for the longevity of my current 12 year old system. He was very knowledgeable and helpful on what my options are and in the end I’ll be getting a new system instead of worrying about the current system failing in our extremely hot temperatures. He was very respectful of my home and my dog was ecstatic to meet him.
Frank identified the need for new faucets in the master bath and discussed my preferences. The type of faucet being replaced is no longer available (mini wide spread) so he had to do some research to come up with a solution. Had to be ordered, not surprisingly, and we appreciate his conscientious performance.
