Do I Need to Have My Ductwork Tested?
It hasn’t been too hot around here just yet, but homeowners throughout the area know that the hottest time of the year is well on its way. The next few weeks are bringing some weather in the mid-to-high 80s, so it makes sense to ensure that your air conditioning system is functioning at peak performance levels before things heat up much more. Hopefully you’ve been diligent in scheduling routine air conditioning maintenance over the years, and you’ve done so this year as well. Even so, there may be issues with your system that have slipped through the cracks. Leaky ductwork is one such issue, which is why you may want to schedule professional duct testing in Tucson, AZ.
When Is Duct Testing Necessary?
Ideally, homeowners will have their air ducts tested at least every few years. Unlike, say, professional air conditioning maintenance, though, which is an annual commitment, there are not such hard and fast rules when it comes to duct testing. While every few years is recommended, scheduling professional duct testing is also largely up to the homeowner. You should know some basic warning signs that your air ducts are indeed leaking, so that you can have them tested when trouble arises.
If you notice that your indoor air quality is on the decline, it could be due to leaky ductwork distributing pollutants throughout the house. Compromised air ducts may also be the cause of reduced efficiency levels, and hot spots throughout your home. If you notice any of these problems in your residence, scheduling duct testing with our team is probably in your best interest.
When we test your ductwork, we aren’t just removing grates and shining a light within. We close off the system, attach a calibrated fan to your ductwork, and pressurize it. We measure the difference in pressure against that pressurization, and in doing so we are able to determine with certainty if your ducts are leaking. Great review for Goettl Plumbing.We had an blockage in our sewer line.Tyler Leija was dispatched the same day, and found the blockage using a camera tool.He cleared the blockage temporarily.The actual fix would require digging up and replacing the bad area of pipe.Paulo "Adrian" Dado and his crew came out the next day with backhoe, dug up the area, and replaced the section of pipe.The next day, after inspection, Adrian and his crew filled in the hole and then cleaned up the area.This is a brief description. There was A LOT of work involved.Very professional work.

We were hearing hammering between the walls. Tyler came out to my home to perform an evaluation. After doing several tests he quickly found the issue. We discussed several options. I ultimately opted to have the problem fixed to avoid damage to other appliances. He completed the work in a timely manner.
Peter helped a lot with explaining the root cause of our AC unit not functioning as well as it should be, and explaining why he recommended the fix/parts that he did. Took plenty of time to troubleshoot what was actually going on as opposed to just treating the symptoms, and explained in an easy-to-understand way what he found and how to fix it. Our AC went down for the upstairs unit. We have a maintenance plan through another company but they do not provide 24/7 service. I called Goettl and I am so happy I did. I will say, no other technician has been as proficient as Jay.Yesterday, 2.6.24, I received a call from Betty. Betty was also very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She listened to me and made recommendations and advice. By the end if the call, I felt like Betty was a friend.Thank you to Jay and Betty!Late one evening I was washing clothes. Daughter noticed water on floor under washer. I was so upset and worried about finding someone to fix the problem, whatever it was, and especially the cost. Goettl this the rescue! Namely, their employee/plumber, Chris! The next day, Chris came, found the clog in my pipes, and…voilà! We joined their $14.95 per month plan and that was all we paid for a job well done! Thank you!3.26.24Tyler Leija was great! He checked my drain pipe outside with a camera. Advised everything was clear. He checked my kitchen and master bathroom sinks and toilet. Tyler was friendly, but professional. Thank you.4.17.24Frank M arrived here on time. He was friendly and professional. He explained everything he was going to do today. He completed everything he mentioned. He provided suggestions of things that need or should be taken care of. Nothing urgent. He installed the water heater sensor in addition to other plumbing type things. He drained the water heater. He spoke to his supervisor, Terronne (sp?). Should received estimates for hvac and water heater. Thank you Frank! Great job!

Roy A. was a pleasure to work with. He thoroughly and expertly explained all of the issues with my system with pictures and videos. He was transparent about the remediation options available to me and patiently reviewed each option with me. The install team, Daniel and Roy, were equally as awesome. They too were extremely knowledgeable, patient with my questions, and worked diligently to get my new unit up and running safely in one day. I couldn’t have asked for a better team.

The water softener (which is outside) was ruined by the recent weather. Rudy and Chris were able to diagnose the problem and replaced the softener on same day. This was critical to avoid any plumbing problems in the house. We appreciate their professionalism and attention email to detail.
